REGIONAL SALES CONSULTANT
Central Scotland
The successful candidate will be responsible for both servicing and account managing existing customers and gaining new customers.
Service and account management aspect of the role will involve on-site analysis of water samples, interpretation and reporting of results, advising corrective actions and improvements, compliance review, stock management and ensuring that all contractual obligations are performed to the highest standards.
The new business generation aspect will require you to identify prospects and to develop and execute effective strategies for approaching, winning and developing business from them.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a number of years experience in water treatment sales and service. However, we will consider people with an appropriate engineering, laboratory or technical sales background. Full technical and sales training will be provided and there is scope to develop skills and knowledge, leading to promotion within the Company.
An attractive salary is offered and benefits include a company car, mobile phone, computer, 5 weeks’ annual leave and non-contributory pension scheme.

Job Description
To enhance our sales performance through direct marketing strategies to:
- identify potential prospects
- generate sales leads and appointments via telesales, e-shots etc.
- raise our profile with prospective customers
- exploit niche market opportunities via marketing campaigns
- to ensure that our sales and marketing material is sufficiently comprehensive and of an appropriate format and standard (e.g. sales literature, case studies and website)
Person Requirements
- Bright, enthusiastic, personable, good verbal communication skills
- Good written English and ability to produce marketing literature
- Capable and conversant with key software applications
- Organised and structured
- Creative
- Self-managed, able to work with minimum supervision
- Results-orientated
Experience of Direct Marketing is essential.
