The control of legionella bacteria in waters systems Code of Practice L8 requires cooling tower operators to clean and chlorinate cooling towers every 6 months.
Feedwater use highly trained dedicated staff to carry out this work to exacting standards helping you to stay within the law. An added benefit of this work will be increased plant efficiency because of the removal of any biofilms (biofilm is a more efficient insulator than scale and increases pumping costs 3 -50%)
Feedwater have developed a patented Activ Ox in situ chlorine dioxide cooling tower pack cleaning process which will allow you to clean your cooling tower pack without removing it and damaging it and this can reduce downtime on your towers.
