Corrosperse

Corrosperse 84 is an amazingly effective cleaning agent for pre-commission or renovation cleans of closed heating or cooling systems.
Corrosperse 84 works by selectively dissolving rust and other metal oxides whilst leaving the parent metal unaffected - see the picture above.

Unless effective water treatment is applied from day 1 closed systems can rapidly become fouled with corrosion deposits that interfere with the flow, heat transfer, operation of control valves and literally choke the system to death.

Corrosperse 84 can be used to either prepare a new system for inhibition (pre-commission cleaning) or to restore an older system to its original performance (renovation cleaning). Excellent results have been achieved in hotels, hospitals, factories, universities and public buildings within just a few days.

The progress of the clean-up can be monitored using simple tests or by means of our laboratory postal analysis service.

Corrosperse 84 is non-toxic and non-acidic and the effluent from the process is non-hazardous. Subject to the approval of the local water company, it can usually be discharged directly to foul drain.

Corrosperse 84 can either be supplied on a DIY basis or we can provide a full cleaning service using one of our approved sub-contractors.
